Lake Laberge Webcam

... and there on the marge of Lake Laberge, I cremated Same McGee!

So goes a yarn by Robert W. Service, who penned his famous poem "The Cremation of Sam McGee" a century ago. This live view of Lake Laberge (refreshed every 6 minutes) is being shot from the living room window of our lodge, situated high on a rocky bluff above the lake, which looks very much the way Robert would have seen it.

Having a view like this ensures that we never lose sight of how blessed we are to live in such a place, and we'd like to invite you to come up for a look. Whether you're interested in photography or fishing, history or hiking (or maybe just need to recharge your "batteries"), this just may be the spot you've been searching for.

You may have heard the stories about how dark and dreary it is up here in the winter. Don't believe everything you hear - the photo below shows you one of the gifts that winter brings, the aurora borealis (Northern Lights). Northern Lights on the Lake Laberge, Yukon webcam
